Realisation: Kalle Laar / BR 2002 / Länge: 24'00 // Das Projekt "Metropolis - portraits in sound and image of the major cities in the world" führte Kalle Laar gemeinsam mit dem Fotografen Michael Wesely im Frühjahr 2002 nach São Paulo. An ausgewählten Orten der 16-Millionen-Einwohner-Stadt stellt der eine Stative für Kamera und der andere für Mikrophon auf, um gleichzeitige, fotografische Ton-Aufnahmen für ihr Projekt zu machen, wobei die Belichtungszeit der Fotografie und die Länge der Tonaufzeichnung identisch sind.
