So, here's the deal. On the one hand, I'm still in the middle of producing Swinging Doors over on Stories from the Hiber-Nation. On the other hand, people who have liked my GK Chesterton books, and said so on Podiobooks, have repeatedly requested I record "The Everlasting Man." Didn't want to interrupt Mike's book, and didn't want to keep putting off Chesterton's book. So I'm compromising. I'm going to interject the episodes of The Everlasting Man over here on the Growls feed, and continue Swinging Doors on Hiber-Nation till that's finished. A little bit of news: I get to start a new podcast for one of the sims in Second Life, a community of common interests that I think the rest of the world will find interesting, too. And a friend asked me to help him start his own podcast. Flattering and gratifying, to know someone who knows me face to face thinks this podcasting stuff is a worthwhile skill that I actually have, after eight years of practice. I finally got my music back! Got my old account at CyberPR opened again, found a tune I really love (My Town) from a group called Antigone Rising, which I got to play on the podcast. A first try with the new tech setup, which should allow live recording from Skype while livestreaming with Shoutcast (into Second Life) and recording. More fiddly, and I had my levels a bit too high.
