On October 28, 2003 the host of this podcast, Kevin Lowe, saw the faces of his family for the last time. Upon waking from a surgery that saved his life with the removal of a brain tumor Kevin was left completely blind.
It's been a long road, these past 19 years, but along the way Kevin has time and time again proved to himself that even without sight, this world is still beautiful.
Inside of today's episode Kevin is unpacking the way in which he sees people today, while at the same time explaining how it feels to not know what his family looks like 19 years later.
