Show Notes

What creative outlets have helped you express yourself and the grief you are feeling?

In this thirty-fourth episode together, I am joined by Linda Shanti McCabe. Linda is a  licensed clinical psychologist, author, and artist.  After her Dad died, followed by her husband 3 months later, Linda Shanti McCabe, realized everything she previously knew about grief was wrong. She turned to art to find meaning, and then wrote a book called After Your Person Dies: Affirmations for Grief, Making Meaning, and Going On for other people traveling with grief. She now leads expressive arts journeys for creative and strong widows learning to navigate grief with grace.

Throughout this episode,  Linda and I talk about how art has helped us throughout our journeys with grief. Linda talks about the different mediums of art that she has been working on, why she created an art workshop for widows, the losses that she has been grieving, and she even shares a few affirmations from her book After Your Person Dies: Affirmations for Grief, Making Meaning, and Going On.
