Show Notes
How are you continuing the legacy of a friend or family member who has passed on? One way we can honor loved ones we have lost is by sharing the lessons, advice, and stories they shared with us.
In this thirty-second episode together, I am joined by Susan Combs. Susan is the best-selling author of Pancakes for Roger, a book that shares the lessons she learned from her father, Roger, who has passed away. Roger served in the Marines, Army, and Air Force for more than 39 years and eventually died from Agent Orange-related throat cancer. Today, Susan is motivated to share her father’s stories and support advocacy programs that help veterans.
Throughout this episode, Susan and I have a wonderful conversation about her late father, Roger, who inspired her to write the book Pancakes for Roger. She talks about what her father’s passing taught her about grief, her passion about helping and donating to advocacy programs for veterans, why mentorship is so important to pass on, and much more.
Tune in and listen to the thirty-second episode of Grief and Happiness, and join me in learning how Susan is living in grief and happiness while passing down the lessons she learned from her late father!
