Show Notes
It is difficult to find something comforting when going through grief because the mind is either too focused on the past or the future.
In this episode, I am joined by Marv Weidner and Carol GoldfainDavis. Marv is the author of the book When the Rocks Sing. A book about finding the resilience to move forward and rebuild after losing a loved one. Carol is a grief counselor with over twenty-two years of experience and helped Marv while he was grieving the loss of his wife.
Throughout this episode, Marv shares how journaling and writing the book impacted him and the lessons he learnt. Carol shares some tips on how to find a good counselor and the options available to people going through grief. Additionally, you’ll hear why Marv found it necessary to rediscover himself as part of the healing process.
