077 - Brent Hullinger of The Pond Beyond in Frankfort, Illinois
Brent has lived around ponds all his life; his parents always had a koi pond in the yard when he was growing up. Little did he know that his childhood experience would lead to unique success. After graduating from high school, Brent became a fire fighter and continues that career to this day. Due to his schedule, he was able to add landscaping services as a side gig. Wanting to learn more, he Googled for opportunities and was served information about Aquascape and its training programs. He attended the Aquascape Academy and became a Certified Aquascape Contractor in 2017. While still employed as a firefighter, Brent landed a $600,000 pond installation project and called on Ed Beaulieu at Aquascape for additional help. Brent continues his work battling fires and installing water features on the side. He has two employees and hires subcontractors when needed.
