040 – Roy Dahl of Aqua Landscapes in Carol Stream, Illinois
Today, Greg Wittstock, The Pond Guy catches up with Roy Dahl of Aqua Landscapes in Carol Stream, Illinois. A firefighter for 28-years, Lieutenant Dahl began working for the local fire house in 1992 and started running a landscaping business during his off-hours in 1994. After multiple encounters at the local plant nursery with an Aquascape pond builder, Roy attended his first Aquascape pond build in 2005. By 2007, Roy was a Certified Aquascape Contractor and the rest, as they say, is history! Listen in as Roy talks about how two equally rewarding professions converged to make him a very happy pond-building firefighter!
