The Jesus Way

Everyone has a few moments in their life where the earth seems to stop on its axis. Those singular moments, where something happened and everything changed: the moment you said, “Yes!” to that special person, or took a step into a new career or heard your baby’s first cry. That time when you first looked up into the sky and felt small under the stars, the time you watched your parents drive off in the distance, leaving you on your own in a new place.

God is close in all of our moments—the times of fear and doubt, the times of loneliness and the times of joy.

A Critical Foundation: Parenting

Who doesn’t love a good “before” and “after” story? Seeing real stories of transformation gives us all hope and helps us see what’s really possible. Just like any house that’s a real “fixer upper,” our relationships need restoration. The real kind starts on the inside, in the guts of the house, before the change works its way out to affect curb appeal.

The Future After Forgiveness

That old children’s rhyme might pretend that sticks and stones are the only things that do any damage, but we know the truth. The hurtful words and actions of others can leave behind some of the deepest wounds we carry.

Living with wounds of disappointment, pain and anger can take its toll if we don’t deal with them in a healthy way. Studies show that people who hold onto grudges are more likely to experience depression, PTSD and other serious health conditions. Bitterness can make us physically ill. The antidote? Forgiveness.

In this series we are discovering the strength available through Jesus to help us forgive and let go of the wounds that weigh us down.

Fake Relationships

Let’s get real—because being fake is exhausting.

Face it: fake is easy to find. Whether you’re trying to weed through fake news, or someone’s too-perfect profile online, authenticity can be hard to come by. We long for honest relationships. For a friend who will tell us the truth. For a place we can really be ourselves.

If you are seeking something genuine in a world that’s all about faking it, join us as we talk about the amazing transformation that can happen when we stop being fake and start getting real.

Alone in the Crowd

No man is an island, or so the saying goes. But in a world where there are more opportunities than ever to communicate and connect with everyone around us, why are we left feeling so alone? Is anybody listening? How do we pursue a genuine connection with God and with each other?

For three weeks, we’re exposing the realities of loneliness and how God is reaching out—even when it seems like all we’re hearing is silence after asking, “Can you hear me now?”

You’re not alone.

In this series we’re talking about how to make room for rest and still honor God in our busy, everyday lives.

Driven to Be Sent

So—now what? I’ve checked so many goals off my bucket list. I have a decent job, a great spouse and kids, a nice house—things are good. Really. What now? Is there more than this?

Great questions. The Bible says we were created on purpose, for a purpose. But discovering that purpose can seem like a huge challenge. It matters so much that we’re going to spend three weeks together asking the question “Now what?” by looking at what the Bible has to say about uncovering God’s purpose and calling for our lives.

Making Change

Many of us feel so overwhelmed by debt, bills and credit card statements that it’s easy to forget our money is supposed to be working for us—a tool to transform our lives and our community. Join us for three weeks as we own up to the struggle and unpack Biblical principles that can help guide how we use our money, no matter how much we have in the bank.

Money Matters

Mo’ money, less problems? Sure sounds nice, but the reality is, learning how to manage what you do have, to save and spend in healthy ways, is a struggle for most of us. It’s so easy to get caught up in the demands of today and put off doing the things we need to do for our future. (Case in point: 1 in 3 Americans has $0 saved for retirement.)

Many of us feel so overwhelmed by debt, bills and credit card statements that it’s easy to forget our money is supposed to be working for us—a tool to transform our lives and our community.
