Christ brings the restoration of all things--new and better creation, new and better life and new and better relationship with Him.

The Story: The Glorious Hope
The Day of the LORD and the Glorious Hope: What about the dead in Christ?
What does Jesus' second coming look like? How do we live in light of all this?

The Story: To Live is Christ, to Die is Gain
An exposition and explanation of the depth and significance of the apostle Paul's statement: Live=Christ; Die=Gain.

The Story: Nothing but the Blood
Hebrews was written as a letter to Jewish believers early in the history of the Church. The letter urges them not to return to religious processes for the atonement that only Christ gives. This speaks to our reliance today on piety and works rather than submitting to the totality and completeness of the work of Jesus.

The Story: How to Change the World
How God's Holy Spirit moved in the early Church, spreading the Gospel, changing the world. Our calling is to tell and spread the Gospel. His Spirit and the assuredness of His Truth should lead us to live for it and prepare us to die for it.

The Story: Resurrection - Past, Present, Future
The Resurrection: How it completes the promises of the Old Testament; what it means to us at the moment we receive it; and what it means we should do going forward.

The Story: Mercy and Justice in Perfect Balance
Why did the Christ come to die? Why did He have to? We address the character of God and atonement for sin by answering these questions: How does the world see the cross? What is really happening? Why is this the most important moment ever?

The Story: The Kingdom Begins with Dying
The true Kingdom of God (spiritual) will look different from the earthly kingdom the Jews expected. This Kingdom will begin with a humble Savior; with a Lord willing to condescend and die for His people--this, no one expects.

The Story: The Fullness of Time
God is sovereign. The LORD God Almighty works in all things, doing them by His design; at times using difficult experiences to amplify the arrival of His redemption. History speaks of this.

The Story: The Sun of Righteousness will Rise
Discussing foretellings of Christ's first and second coming--why these are relevant to us, and why the coming of His light and truth is so important.

The Story: The Greatest Promise Ever
God's promise to Israel amid tumultuous times: "I will give you a new heart."

Membership Matters: Discipleship
Biblical guidelines and examples for discipleship:
How do we do discipleship? What does it look like? Why do we do it that way?

Membership Matters: The Lord's Supper
The implications of celebrating the Lord's Supper.

Membership Matters: Baptism
What is baptism biblically? Why do we do it? What is it for? What does it do and not do?

Membership Matters: Why Church Membership is Vitally Important
Church membership is important. Here, we take a biblical look at it and see why God has said it is vital for our walk as believers. These are matters of membership, and they do matter.

The Implications of Clearly Explaining God's Word
Israel is returning from exile in Babylon. Ezra and Nehemiah read scripture to the people and teach them, and the people react with conviction. How was the Word preached in Scripture? How should we do it today?

The Story: Break the Cycle
Continuing through the Old Testament as we study through the overview of the Bible: Ezekiel. What does the Bible say about generational sin? What is it, and how do we interpret/misinterpret sin, consequence, grace and the gift of a new heart?

The Story: Behold Our God
Perspective: A prophecy to Israel to see her God clearly; to behold Him in His might, yet to see His coming mercy. This application and scripture speaks to us to see Him clearly and allow His perspective and sovereignty to reign in our lives.

The Story: A Divided Heart
Solomon's slow descent toward a deeply divided heart--the story and practical application. God desires our affections and knows that His affections toward us are all that will satisfy us.

You Have No Secrets: Horrifying or Wonderful?
As we've been going through the whole Bible this year, we have reached the accounts of King David. At this time, we look at his writing in Psalm 139 and realize how intimately, how completely God knows us. This is, at first scary, but then serves to help illustrate the depth of His unconditional love.

The Story: Pride Before a Fall
Truths of how arrogance and failure to continually submit to the LORD can lead to the consequence of not being a usable vessel for His work--Saul's example of this cautions us in many situations, even today.

Divided vs. Singular Focus
Overview of the book of Judges; how God was calling Israel and making a way for them and how He calls us and has provided redemption.

How Our Perspective Becomes God's Perspective
Overview of the book of Joshua and a closer look at what God is doing with Israel and Jericho. God is continually saying to Israel, "I have made a way for you; I am making a way for you. Align yourself with me and remember to honor me."

Bible Overview
Overview of Bible.

The Story: God has Got You, so Trust Him
A summary of the message and theme of the book of Deuteronomy (trust in God). He chooses a people, Israel, swears to bless them and asks them to love and remember Him. He loves them simply because He has decided to love them; of no special merit of their own.

Faith in Action
God desires an outpouring of mercy instead of a show. We do this in response to the mercy He has shown, not in order to earn His favor.

Jesus and Justice
Why be merciful? Why seek justice? Is it to be rewarded with salvation, commendation or positive feelings? Jesus is God; He was perfectly just and merciful as a human. Therefore, we see what God, Himself, would do and a model for what we should do (which, in turn, glorifies Him).

This Little Light: Are You a Culture Warrior?
If we intend to be legitimate followers of Christ, we must be serious lovers of His Word. As we study it and His Spirit reveals it to us, we become equipped for good works, we are well fed and we stay relevant to share the Gospel with the world.

Far Greater Than We Know
Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem on a donkey colt--a lesson on the significance of this, the misunderstandings of the Jews in that day, and perhaps our own misunderstandings or downplays of who our LORD is.

He Set His Face to Jerusalem
Jesus sets His face toward Jerusalem and looks toward His upcoming death. What did it cost His disciples, and what will it cost us to follow Him? Will we accept this supernatural grace and forsake all else to recklessly love and follow Jesus?

The Story: How to Approach a Holy God
True worship vs. false worship. We are created by God with a purpose and need to worship. When we sin and ignore God, we still tend to act out that need to worship toward other things. Our worship should focus upon our perfect and holy Maker

The Story: The Law
We are justified by faith. God was gracious to give us the Law, but it is our own mishandling and selfishness that causes us to misuse it. It is clear that our salvation does not come from the law, but through Christ by faith.

The Story: The Exodus
God's judgment of the Egyptian gods, provision for the Israelites and overall revelation of Himself ("so that you may know that there is none like Me in all the earth").

The Story: I AM WHO I AM
Moses and God's appearance in the burning bush. Who HE IS, who HE has always been, how HE may appear to us.

The Story: What You Mean for Evil, God Meant for Good

The Story: Rescue is Coming
The first mention of God's redemptive plan and His promises (Gen. 3:15).

The Story: No One Seeks God

The Story: I will be My Own God
The Fall of Man. What was it like before? What led to how it is now? Where are we today?

The Story: Who is Man?
Who are we? What is our formative history and, perhaps more importantly, what is our purpose? We are created to be in relationship with God.

The Story: God Is
God Is. God is before all, and He is eternal; not needing us, not conjured up by us. He has always been, and He is eternal. Our story is only of worth when it aligns with His story--The story.
