This section describes how a number of different groups came together in late 2020 as part of the "Stop the Steal" cause. Roger Stone, arguably President Trump's oldest political advisor, maintained contact with these groups through a Signal chat group named "F.O.S."—or Friends of Stone. The Select Committee sought to question Roger Stone about these relationships, but he invoked his Fifth Amendment right nearly 90 times during his deposition.
