A Cape Town cycling community is waiting for updates after a serious crash on Victoria Road left 61-year-old cyclist Landon Lagrange critically injured. Speaking to Lester Kiewit, Neil Robinson, CEO of the Pedal Power Association, said Lagrange was airlifted to hospital following a collision with a minibus taxi and remains in a critical but stable condition. Robinson noted that fellow cyclists administered immediate medical assistance at the scene, which may have helped save his life. The incident has renewed concerns around road safety and the protection of cyclists, with ongoing calls for improved enforcement and accountability on South African roads.
