The Vegas Golden Knights (25-14-12) were defeated by the Ottawa Senators (24-21-7), 7-1, on Sunday at Canadian Tire Centre. Rasmus Andersson recorded his first goal as a Golden Knight in the third period.
Stephen Halliday posted three points (2G, 1A) and Dylan Cozens scored twice for Ottawa. Fabian Zetterlund also scored, Brady Tkachuk recorded three assists, and Mads Søgaard, called up from the Belleville Senators (AHL) on Saturday, made 19 saves for his first win of the season as Ottawa snapped a stretch of four losses in five games (1-2-2).
