This episode looks at passages from Isaiah and 1 Timothy; passages that highlight the identity of Jesus Christ. Isaiah declares His name to be called Immanuel, Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6). In 1 Timothy, Paul tells Timothy about the mystery of godliness. But what is this mystery? It may not be what you think. We learn from this lesson that Jesus' identity is without controversy in the Apostolic church.

For those who use Word Aflame Curriculum, the Bible passage focused on in this episode comes from Lesson 1 of The Living Word, Summer 2021, entitled, "Without Controversy" (June 6, 2021).
