Subject: You Were Born for Battle – Warring Kingdoms Why does life so often feel like a battle? Because it is. We are living in the midst of a spiritual war—and you were born in war and for war. That's the heart of the first lesson in our Mantled for Victory class, titled Warring Kingdoms. Let's anchor ourselves in this truth: "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, powers, world forces of this darkness, and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places." — Ephesians 6:12 Five Key Foundations: 1. You were born in war and born for war. 2. All true warfare centers on God's Son, Jesus Christ. 3. You were created to bring pleasure to God. 4. The source of all warfare in the root of rebellion. 5. One of the most powerful weapons of spiritual warfare is forgiveness. Warfare Is Normal Spiritual warfare isn't just for a few—it's the normal Christian life. The Apostle Paul urges us to "fight the good fight" (1 Tim. 1:18) and reminds us that our weapons "are not carnal" (2 Cor. 10:4). God Himself is called "a man of war" (Ex. 15:3), "mighty in battle" (Ps. 24:8), and "the Lord of Hosts." The Enemy is Real The Bible describes our adversary as Satan, the accuser, deceiver, tempter, and destroyer. He rules a spiritual kingdom in opposition to God's, but Jesus has given you authority to overcome. (1 John 4:4) Rebellion Is the Root At the core of every conflict is rebellion—the refusal to submit to God's rule. But when we pray, "Thy Kingdom come," it begins with our own surrender. "There is no peace," says my God, "for the wicked." (Isa. 57:21) But for those who submit—there is deep, lasting peace. No Neutral Ground There are only two kingdoms: God's and Satan's. In 1987, I witnessed firsthand the power of God shaking a nation steeped in darkness. A Voodoo priest declared over national radio: "Our kingdom is under siege!" We are living in what Scripture calls an evil day (Ephesians 6:13)—a time of heightened spiritual conflict, global unrest, and divine warnings. But God has not left us without weapons. He is calling His people to lift up the shield of faith, stand in intercession, and engage in strategic warfare like never before. From this prophetic encounter, I want to share five urgent insights: Spiritual Warfare & Urgent Prophetic Warning We are in a full-scale spiritual battle. Ephesians 6:13–18 exhorts us to put on the full armor of God—and right now, the "shield of faith" is essential. This is not a season to be passive. It is a time to stand firm, pray fervently, and resist the enemy's schemes. What Does "Shields Up" Really Mean? The Apostle Paul referenced the Roman scutum—a large, door-sized shield designed for both personal and collective defense. In spiritual terms, "Shields Up" means activating our faith and locking arms with others in united intercession. Our strength multiplies when we shield one another. Prophetic Dreams & Personal Struggles I've recently had intense prophetic dreams—images of bombs, sirens, and conflict. These are not just natural warnings, but spiritual alerts. At the same time, I've been walking through personal battles, including physical affliction, but I believe even this is part of the warfare. I'm asking for your prayers as I stand to release this message with boldness and clarity. National Security Concerns & Strategic Prayer Prophet Cindy Jacobs recently released a word regarding potential threats from Iran, including sleeper cells in U.S. cities. This is not a time for fear, but for preemptive prayer. Cover your cities, military bases, and key infrastructures. Ask the Lord for divine intel, angelic protection, and the exposure of hidden dangers. Redemptive Hope Through Intercession Despite the weight of these warnings, we are not without hope. God always gives warnings so we can respond in prayer and see redemption. Just as Nineveh was spared through repentance, so too can nations be turned if we rise up in intercession. Send Judah first. Worship. War in the Spirit. Believe for God's purposes to prevail—especially in places like Iran, Jordan, and among the Kurdish people. There's a shaking in the nations—but Heaven is not silent.

Appropriation – Receiving divine authority. Action – Stepping out in faith. Anointing – Relying on the Holy Spirit's power. Advancement – Moving forward in victory. There is no specific spiritual gift called "spiritual warfare" in the Bible because it is the birthright of every believer! You were born for this—to discern, intercede, and advance God's kingdom on earth. Let's rise up, hear the Lord's voice, and move forward in triumph!

A Passionate Denunciation of Sin – True revival includes a strong confrontation of sin, as seen in historic revivals and preachers like George Whitefield. 2. A Revelation of God's Holiness – Revival brings a profound awareness of God's holiness, moving beyond legalism to divine revelation. 3. A Deep Awareness of God's Love and Mercy – Revival is not just about conviction but also about experiencing God's love, as seen in ministries like D.L. Moody's. 4. A Heightened Consciousness of Eternity – Many modern churches fail to preach about heaven and hell, but revival restores urgency about eternal matters. 5. Experiential Conviction of Sin – True revival leads to deep personal conviction of sin, something that hyper-grace theology often neglects. James also shares testimonies, including an encounter where he repeatedly prophesied that a man was "going to hell." That man later had a near-death experience, spent 23 minutes in hell, and wrote a book about it. The Triumph Series Theme" "Go on the Offensive" - "You Have a Fire Extinguisher" Theme Scripture: Ephesians 6:16 From Page 151 in The Triumph Book and Page 63 in Study Guide James speaks about the Shield of Faith by which we extinguish the fiery darts of the Evil One. Paul the apostle is speaking of a 2 x 6 foot tall door that you carry and then you can join your door with others to make those doors create a greater shield. These brought together can form a moving tank and be a formidable offensive weapon taking territory.
