美國商務部29日發布的數據，顯示美國第1季生產毛額呈現萎縮，是3年來第一次出現萎縮，顯示貿易戰對美國經濟有所影響；尤其是在關稅生效前，美國企業大量拉貨，導致出現更龐大的貿易逆差。同時對於聯準會遲遲不降息，川普再也按捺不住，29日邀請聯準會主席鮑爾，到白宮一談，不過鮑爾仍然沒有談及對接下來貨幣政策的預期。
