南韓新任總統李在明才剛上任不到兩周，就急於恢復國家內政外交。他在16號起，前往加拿大出席G7峰會，並且有望和美日領袖會面，解決關稅貿易問題。而在內政方面，李在明政府也計畫推出規模達20兆韓元（約台幣4300億元）的追加預算案，希望藉此促進國內低迷經濟。
