近期傳出臉書母公司Meta正在與台積電合作，生產首款自行研發的AI訓練晶片，並且進入測試階段，預計測試成功後將大規模部署運用。而近年，美國科技大廠像是4大雲端服務供應商，都積極研發自家晶片，希望可以降低對輝達等供應商的依賴。而三星電子也在去年11月，開始量產第4代的4奈米製程。不過由於近年三星代工市占下滑，雖然位居第2，也讓韓媒擔憂是不是位子不保。
