日本少子化危機加劇，2024年新生兒人數僅72萬人，再創歷史新低，並且連續第九年下降。隨著勞動人口萎縮，日本職場高齡化現象越趨明顯，甚至出現95歲長者仍在麥當勞工作的情況。此外，因應護理人力短缺，日本正積極研發人工智慧（AI）機器人，希望能減輕長照系統的壓力。然而，專家警告，若生育率持續低迷，恐對日本經濟與社會結構造成更嚴重衝擊。
