丹娜絲颱風於6日晚間11時40分在嘉義布袋登陸，幾乎直撲中央山脈後，已於7日清晨約6時從桃園–新竹交界出海。中國中央氣象台預測，颱風將於8日清晨轉向西偏南，逐漸靠近浙江至福建沿海，並於8日下午至夜間再次登陸中國。
