美國總統川普上任，宣示在百日內訪問北京，並會見中國國家主席習近平。根據消息人士透露，川普最快可能在4月訪問中國，會見習近平。不只如此，美國媒體也爆料美中雙方正在討論，可能在6月舉辦生日峰會。不過與此同時，中國也對美國農產品，展開徵收至多15%關稅從10日生效，這可能加劇，全球兩大經濟體之間的貿易爭端。
