緬甸國會宣布，國會議員投票選出，軍政府領導人敏昂萊，擔任總統。敏昂萊得票率，將近8成。這位前武裝部隊總司令，在5年前，發動武力政變奪下政權，現在這場投票被抨擊，只是作秀，政府骨子裡仍是軍事政權。
