南極有一座特別的圖書館，保存來自世界各地的冰川樣本。隨著連年逐漸加劇的地球暖化，重要的氣候資料正在跟著快速消失。冰記憶基金會推動這個計畫，目的是為了讓後代，能夠回溯歷史，追蹤冰川變化和火山活動，掌握地球氣候的演變，未來將納入更多冰川樣本，讓後代能透過這些冰層，探索人類與自然共存的可能。
