近年各國旅客，紛紛湧入日本，不只帶來嚴重的「觀光公害」，如今連各地的房地產，也隨之「水漲船高」。據日本國稅廳統計，全日本「平均地價」，已經連續4年上漲，今年的漲幅是2.7%。至於漲幅前五名，除了東京都以外，其他三地都是知名的觀光景區，九州的福岡市，更因為中國等海外投資客炒作，當地的高檔物件，高達六成的買家，都是外國籍人士。
