近期東南亞國協經濟部長會議，在馬來西亞舉行。美國貿易代表葛里爾，也親臨現場，和東協國家談判關稅問題。而雖然如印尼、越南，和美國已經達成協定，將關稅降低。但是東協各國，似乎也已經體會到了依賴單一市場的風險，因此未來將會積極的，尋找更多貿易夥伴，將風險分散。
