以色列對哈瑪斯的軍事行動，日益擴大，9日更是警告，若哈瑪斯不釋放人質，將繼續攻擊加薩地區。甚至發出傳單，呼籲加薩民眾撤離。同一天也發生，懷疑是以色列軍方，派出的無人機，攻擊援助加薩的船隊，可見短時間內，並不太可能達成停火協議。
