加拿大和澳洲軍艦6號通過台灣海峽，這個舉動，讓中國忍不住砲轟。加拿大回應，他們是抱持航行自由立場，而美國，也和他們站在同一陣線。美國參議院軍委會主席「韋克爾」，近日訪台後就直言，台灣對美國國安，和全球經濟都很重要。如果美國沒能保護台灣，他們在太平洋的防線，也會瓦解。
