川普公開要求英特爾執行長下台後，彭博社18日報導，美國政府擬以《晶片與科學法》對英特爾的補助款作為資金來源，入股英特爾約10%，成為最大股東。消息傳出後，英特爾股價先下挫，隨即軟銀宣布投資20億美元購買英特爾普通股，股價盤後戲劇性回彈，上漲5.37%。
