自泰國和柬埔寨同意停火後，兩國邊境上仍陸續發生攻擊事件，泰國軍方發聲明表示，柬埔寨軍隊在3地發動攻擊，違反停火協議。而柬埔寨軍方也控泰軍，在停火後挾持柬軍士兵。同時，最近泰國社群媒體上也瘋傳一張照片，疑似是俄羅斯傭兵，在與柬埔寨軍方一起行動，並指稱他們是在教導柬軍，如何使用無人機來攻擊泰軍，不過消息真實性還有待證實。
