美國飲料業，最近吹起健康風潮，可口可樂公司先前才宣佈，旗下的飲料，將使用較健康的蔗糖製造，來取代高果糖玉米糖漿。現在百事可樂也跟進，推出新款「益生元可樂」，主打不添加人工甜味劑，並且含有促進腸道健康的益生元。
