美國總統川普於2日宣布，與越南達成新貿易協議：自越南進口至美國的商品一律徵收20%關稅，經第三國轉口至越南再入美的貨品，關稅則提高至40%。雖然協議細節尚未完全公開，可預見在越南大規模設廠的蘋果與三星將深受影響。同時，越南同意取消對美國商品的既有關稅，川普表示，美製SUV將成為極具競爭力的進口選擇。
