日本汽車大廠「豐田汽車」，將從7月起，調漲美國部分車款售價。無獨有偶，日本汽車大廠，三菱汽車，也在6月就調漲美國部分車款售價，漲幅平均為2.1%，而三菱汽車聲稱，漲價是為了因應通膨，而不是受川普關稅影響。不過，川普的關稅威脅也影響日本國內經濟，馬自達總部所在的廣島市當地，已經開始瀰漫不安的氣氛。
