隨著以伊之間的衝突加劇，澳洲政府宣布，緊急關閉，駐伊朗德黑蘭的大使館，並撤離館內人員與家屬。而紐西蘭，與長期擔任，美國利益代表國的瑞士，也相繼做出同樣決定。與此同時，聯合國與歐洲多國，也積極介入，展開外交協商，與核議談判，希望化解危機，避免衝突擴大。
