美國川普政府的「大而美」支出法案，讓特斯拉執行長馬斯克暴怒，直呼法案令人作嘔。他還在x上，用電影「追殺比爾」的劇照暗諷法案，要求國會議員阻擋通過。會讓馬斯克那麼生氣的原因，首先是這個法案，完全牴觸政府效率部所做的工作。最重要的，還是因為法案會衝擊特斯拉 ，因為它削減了有助於特斯拉的電動車稅務抵免。
