蒙古總理奧雲額爾登在3日的「國會信任案」投票中，因為沒有取得足夠票數宣布自行辭職。這是因為最近，奧雲額爾登的兒子在社群媒體上大肆炫富，引發民眾上街示威，指控政府貪汙腐敗。雖然沒有直接證據，證明奧雲額爾登涉貪，但在蒙古人民生活成本高漲，加上政壇貪腐事件頻傳的情況下，民眾早已忍無可忍。
