今年度的香格里拉對話，這個月30日到6月1日間，在新加坡展開。這是美國新任國防部長赫格塞斯，第一次參加香格里拉會談，然而今年中國已經宣布，國防部長董軍本人不會出席，這似乎給了赫格塞斯，極大的發揮空間。消息人士指出，赫格塞斯希望趁著董軍的缺席，爭取亞太地區國，家向美國靠攏。
