義大利的普拉托，因為全球化和移民潮的影響，當地紡織業在近年逐漸被中國移民取代，他們以低廉價格將成衣出售歐洲各國，雖然是打著「義大利製」的名號，卻都是由中國人經營的工廠製造，儼然成了中國洗產地的製造小鎮。同時，這些工廠逃漏稅、剝削勞工的違法問題，也層出不窮，時常引起執法單位關注。
