美國總統川普宣布對等關稅之後，財政部長貝森特表示，關稅談判中，台灣、日本和韓國有機會，擴大對阿拉斯加天然氣計畫的投資。而我國和日韓也的確都將與美方，在阿拉斯加天然氣項目上合作，除了有助因應能源轉型上，對天然氣龐大的需求，也在能源供應安全和地緣政治上扮演重要角色。
