川普對各國課徵「對等關稅」，連美國在亞洲最堅強的盟友日本也沒有豁免。在出口關稅可能暴增的情況下，日本股市連續幾天暴跌，甚至達到史上第三跌幅，8日雖然一度反彈，但是9日早盤日股又和韓股一起大跌了。日本專家就表示，對日本來說，首先影響的就是佔出口大宗的汽車產業。另外，股價下跌也會使民眾資產減少造成消費低迷，影響日本經濟表現。
