美國總統川普31日簽署行政命令，宣布成立「美國投資加速辦公室」，來監管「晶片法」的實施。還將透過減輕監管措施、加快審核速度，鼓勵企業在美國進行大規模投資。日本政府也在同日宣布，對半導體新創，追加8025億日圓補助，助攻2027年2奈米晶片量產。同時，中國半導體業則是因市場疲軟，企業轉向併購與垂直整合。
