美烏礦物協議目前仍未完成，也讓美國近日有開始加大施壓的動作。美國中東特使，魏科夫於6日宣布，下周將會與烏國官員會談，討論如何實施烏俄停火。彭博社也報導，川普政府認為只有達成停火後，美方才會敲定這筆協議。另一方面，有消息指出美國高層，正在與烏國內的其他反對派領袖接觸，撤換澤倫斯基的意圖相當明顯。
