泰國於5日宣布，針對泰緬邊境5個涉及電信詐騙的區域，實施斷電、斷網、斷油行動。內政部長阿努廷更親自前往邊境發電廠，切斷供電開關。然而，據泰國媒體報導，夜間仍可見電詐大樓燈火通明，顯示該地區可能已備妥發電機應對。
