有傳言指出因戒嚴風波遭彈劾停職，且面臨逮捕的南韓總統尹錫悅可能已逃出總統官邸。警方表示他們正在追蹤尹錫悅的位置。同時高級公職人員犯罪調查處，誓言會盡一切可能突破總統警衛處防衛達成拘提目標。對此尹錫悅的律師團表示，尹錫悅無法接受公調處對他執行拘提，也否認尹錫悅逃出官邸。
