A 36-year-old man, Sandhu Ponnachan, is facing severe charges following a car accident in Derby that left seven pedestrians injured. Ponnachan, originally from India, was arrested shortly after the incident and appeared in court, where he was remanded in custody. The victims, aged between 36 and 52, are recovering from serious injuries. Ponnachan will next appear in Derby Crown Court on April 29th.
