James Tolkan, known for his tough-guy roles in Back to the Future and Top Gun, passed away at 94. He was remembered for his iconic roles as Strickland and Commander Stinger. Before Hollywood, Tolkan served in the Navy and spent 25 years in New York theater. He also appeared in Masters of the Universe and Dick Tracy.
