Show Notes

William Campbell, a 41-year-old Glaswegian, has been sentenced to prison for a £1.4 million fraud scam. He impersonated lawyers, pilots, and other individuals to establish fake companies, renting luxury cars, tools, and fuel on credit, then disappearing with the goods. Campbells accomplices, Brian Docherty and Declan Kearney, received four-year sentences in 2025. Campbell was caught with fraudulent fuel cards and messages linking him to his fake cleaning firm. His prior theft conviction led to a custodial sentence. The trial took place at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
