Brendan Rooney, after a 44-year career in community health, is retiring as executive director of Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust. He started as a volunteer at 16 and joined the Healthy Living Initiative in 2003, which evolved into the current trust. Under his leadership, the trust expanded to offer mental health support, launched CamGlen Radio, and built a strong volunteer network. Rooneys legacy of community-driven change will continue to influence the trusts work.
