Tyler Fitzgerald will carry the Giants to the playoffs! (It could happen.) In this Mid-Week Review the brothers discuss who's doing the heavy lifting on the offense and who's being carried before turning their attention to the Giants playoff chances now that the Giants are winning some games.
In the lightning round Ben hopes for disaster, Matthew forgets his toothbrush, and we all enjoy a summer evening.
On the cocktail side of things Ben is drinking a Bitter Gin & Tonic while Matthew is drinking a Tiki Old Fashioned. Recipes below.
Bitter Gin & Tonic
- 2 oz Gin
- 4 oz Club Soda
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 Lime wedge
Add gin to a rocks glass filled with ice. Top with club soda. Add dashes of bitters, and squeeze and drop in lime wedge.
Tiki Old Fashioned
- 2 oz White Rum
- 1/2 oz Velvet Falernum
- 1 dash Peach Bitters
- 1 dash Cherry Bitters
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. Mix for 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice. Garnish with luxardo cherries.
