A no-hitter sure is a great distraction from mediocrity. Our hosts discuss Blake Snell's no-no and the Red series before diving deep into a review of the roster post trade deadline. Then they finish with a good ol' fashioned under-informed rant about the Giants ability to evaluate prospect readiness.
On the cocktail side of things Matthew is drinking a My Tie while Ben is drinking a Banana Daiquiri. Recipes below.
My Tie
- 2 oz White Rum
- 3/4 oz Orange Brandy (Grand Marnier)
- 1/2 oz Orgeat Syrup
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- 2 dashes Peach Bitters
Put them all into a shaker with ice, give it a good shake, uh, strain it into a rocks glass with plenty of ice and a garnish with a lime wheel.
Banana Daiquiri
- 2 oz White Rum
- 1/2 oz Banana Liqueur
- 1/2 oz Ginger Syrup
- 1 oz Lime Juice
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a couple glass. Garnish with something.
