Spooky stories from Appalachia have blown up over the years and lucky for us, there is no shortage of first-hand tales from people who live in the region online. So for today, I scoured Reddit for some of the strangest and scariest paranormal stories set in Appalachia. The stories range in location and the kind of activity witnessed, but they are all haunting in their own right. From suspected cryptids, and mimics and crawlers, to completely unexplainable experiences while camping in the woods, you’re in for a wild and very strange time.
